Dottorato Dottorande/Dottorandi Diletta Paghi
Diletta Paghi
I am a heritage scientist with a passion for ceramic artefacts. During my undergraduate studies I gained experience with invasive and non-invasive analysis techniques for the characterisation of cultural heritage materials. My PhD project concerns the scientific investigation of medieval and Renaissance glazed ceramics made in Italy (Pisa and Montelupo Fiorentino) and Spain (Catalonia and Valencia). The main objective is to determine the raw materials and production techniques of the glazes and their evolution, as well as to identify the different ore deposits used for lead supply over the centuries.
