My interest in nature led me to enrol in a Bs.C in Natural Sciences at the University of Florence. During my studies I realised that I was fascinated by the earth sciences (geology, paleontology, mineralogy and petrography) rather than by botany or zoology. I decided to complete my Bs.C. with a thesis in paleontology and start a master program in Geosciences with a focus on the Earth system evolution. After my degree I began working as a museum guide in the Museum of Geology and Paleontology of Florence, where I learned that I have a passion for storytelling and dissemination.  During my master thesis I focused on Mesozoic fossil reptiles from North Africa, which allowed me to go on several digging expeditions. My research interests are currently focused on finding the most effective and innovative solutions to enhance paleontological heritage in national and international museum colletions, through new techniques and technologies.
