He is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (2021.11–2023.10) working on the reconstruction of vegetation, climate and environment with palynology and chronostratigraphy in the Pleistocene of central Italy. He holds an MSc degree (2016) on paleobotany focusing on a Pliocene flora with fossil leaves in Southwest China from Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, Chinese Academy of Sciences. He obtained his PhD (2021) on palynology and biogeography focusing on the vegetation, climate and environment in the late Eocene of central Myanmar and Cenozoic biographical history of palms from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He is interested in the Cretaceous and Cenozoic history of vegetation, climate, environment reconstructed with multi-proxies, and evolutionary history and global biogeography of plants.
