Simone Margheri
I am a geologist with a particular interest in crystallography and mineralogy.
The aim of my Ph.D. project is to find suitable minerals for heavy metals removal in aqueous matrices and tailor the structure of synthetic analogues to improve their efficiency and selectivity.

Ph.D. Student in Earth Sciences at the University of Florence, 2022 – 2024, XXXVII cycle, Programma Operativo Nazionale (PON) Ricerca e Innovazione. Thesis Title: Capture and recovery of heavy metals in trap minerals.
