Houssem Tabbabi
He graduated in Natural Sciences in 2017 at University of Gafsa-Tunisia. His master degree internship has been carried out in the Department of Earth Science at the University of Gabes, under the supervision of Prof. Zaineb El Amri with the thesis called "Biostratigraphic and palaeoecological study of the Santonian-Campanian boundary of northwest Tunisia".
Currently, He is a PhD student at the University of Florence and the University of Gabes, under the supervision of Prof. Adele Bertini with the thesis "High-resolution palynological analysis of the Pliocene-Pleistocene on both sides of the Mediterranean". His project focuses on the reconstruction of paleoclimate changes during the Pliocene-Pleistocene transition, especially through the palynological study of Piacenzian (Upper Pliocene) and Gelasian (Lower Pleistocene) deposits of the Mediterranean area.
