BACHELOR DEGREE COURSE in GEOLOGICAL SCIENCE (Corso di laurea Triennale)
The Bachelor Degree Course in Geological Sciences has a duration of three years aimed at providing the basic elements and the necessary skills to the training of the basic geologist in all areas of geosciences.
The Degree Program trains graduates with a solid general and good scientific setting basic geological knowledge, able to recognize the mineral-petrographic, geochemical and paleontological nature of materials by interpreting phenomena geological and geophysical processes of the Earth planet during its complex evolution. In addition to the qualifying objectives provided for by the declaration of Class L-34, graduates in Geological Sciences will achieve the skills necessary for the understanding of phenomena and processes related to the nature and evolution of the Earth system.
In particular, graduates in Geological Sciences possess knowledge and skills useful for recognition, description and representation of the geological nature of the territory and its subsoil as well as knowledge useful for the interpretation of the dynamics involved in geological transformation processes of the chemical-physical environment of the Planet.
Graduates will be able to carry out substantial professional activities in the acquisition and representation of data geological and territorial countryside and laboratory, with direct and indirect methods. Graduates will be able to perform professional activities in public administrations, private institutions, companies and professional firms by registering in the Professional Order (Register B).
